Faith Matters
Consider this…
You woke up to a beautiful morning… Someone just took their last breath. Faith Matters.

How vulnerable are we during the night? While our bodies rest, there is absolutely nothing we can do about what occurs around us and within us. We simply wake up to a brand new day and move in with our day. Mentally skimming through the schedules of our day, is there any consideration given to our sovereign God who, by grace, permitted this day seen? Thank Him!
You may be frustrated at potentially being late to work… Someone is having trouble finding one. Faith Matters.
Dealing with angry commuters, stressing over the possibility of being late, spilling coffee… need I say more? Perhaps someone else may consider it a beautiful problem to have. Thank Him!
You are healthy…. Someone just received the news of a terminal illness. Faith Matters.

The threat of one’s life by way of a terminal illness is certainly Life changing moment right here. Be mindful and set healthy habits. If you know a loved one in this circumstance, genuinely get to know what they’re going through and be a friend. Thank Him!
You have friends to turn to for laughter, advise and companionship… Someone is isolated and turn to drugs to cope or a weapon to end it all. Faith Matters.
Be thankful! Be a friend, encourage someone or just be there for them. My pastor once noted how we all walk around and see people as if they were landscapes. Open your door to someone who needs a friend.
Your home is filled with noise and clutter from children… Someone lives in silence with only the echoes of their cries from the longing of “A” child. Faith Matters.

Children are truly a gift of God. Be intentional in that awareness. Thank Him!
You’re able to pay ALL your bills timely… Someone just sacrificed an electric bill to keep from being evicted. Faith Matters.
You never know what someone is dealing with. This isn’t a race or class issue – it’s life, period. Be thankful that you can!
Your husband made you breakfast in bed… A woman is now applying makeup on the bruises left by her husband. Faith Matters.

The list could go on and on. We all have blessings to be thankful for. Don’t take for granted the usual day to day norms and find yourself focusing on the worries that you can’t change. As written in Philippians 4:6-7, Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Consider this as
Imagine if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday. Share your thoughts and comments below – would love to hear from you.
Stay prayed up and be blessed! Faith Matters.
